What is the difference between a Freesat box Free to air or combo box ?

Q: What is the difference between a Freesat box Free to air or combo box ?

A: (1) A free to air and/or box needs to be manually tuned from time to time as broadcasters add new channels and change existing transmissions. If you are not comfortable retuning your box this may mean a service call . A Freesat box will do this automatically and seamlessly.

(2) A freesat box will only show UK Free channels it will not show RTE, you need a combo box to view RTE.

(2) A freesat box has a 7 day programme guide , a free to air/combo only has now and next information

(3) A freesat box has interactive red button channel access and digital text, a free to air box does not have this but these feeds can be tuned manually.
